How do I look at the ECG drawing?

● P wave: P wave is produced by atrial depolarization, and is the first wave in each wave group. It reflects the depolarization process of the left and right atria. The first half represents the right atrium, and the second half represents the left atrium. The normal P wave width is less than or equal to 0.11s.

● QRS complex: QRS complex consists of three closely connected waves, the first downward wave is called Q wave, the high-pointed upright wave after Q wave is called R wave, and after R wave goes downward The wave is called S wave. QRS complexes represent Purkinje fibers that conduct excitement from the atrioventricular node to various locations, and can be used as a sign of ventricular contraction.

● T wave: The T wave is located after the S-T segment and represents the diastole of the ventricle. It is a relatively low and longer wave, which is produced by ventricular repolarization. The early T wave of myocardial infarction showed abnormally high protrusions.

● U wave: It is a very tiny waveform that appears after the T wave, which is generally considered to be the "post-excitation potential" of myocardial excitement.

How to install the paper of the electrocardiograph?

The operation of the reel-type ECG paper is relatively simple, just like loading a roll of paper, take the old one off, replace it with a new one, and install it in the right direction. Storage-type ECG paper need to be unpacked first. For the right direction, there are generally arrows to indicate up and down. If there is no arrow, look at the two ends. The red one is the bottom, and the red one is the upper part. Or look at the black sensing point, which is generally at the bottom. Pull the bottom a little bit to close the hatch, so it's installed.
